Our Story
Established in 2019 by Amanda Grenier as an environmental consulting, operator training, and contract Operator in Responsible Charge (ORC) business. Greener EHS Solutions has since expanded, adding Laboratory and Industrial/Municipal Maintenance operations.
We serve clients from all types of industry including food/beverage, pharmaceutical, wood products, biochemical, as well as small private utilities, municipalities, and industrial pretreatment facilities.

Amanda Grenier
Owner / Operator
Amanda Grenier has over 20 years of experience in the Environmental Health and Safety field for a variety of industries, including wastewater treatment, wood products manufacturing, and hazardous waste. Having a passion for safe and sustainable industry practices, Amanda began Greener EHS Solutions in 2019 to provide contract ORC, backup ORC, and EHS training services. Then in 2021, she expanded the company to include additional laboratory services and a maintenance division.
Amanda has achieved and maintained a variety of industry certifications, including:
- NC Biological Grade 4 Wastewater Treatment Operator's Certification,
- NC Grade 2 Physical/Chemical Wastewater Treatment Operator's Certification,
- NC Spray Irrigation,
- Land Application Operator's Certifications, and
- Wastewater Laboratory Analyst Level IV Certification.
In her free time, Amanda enjoys organic gardening, camping, and hiking the North Carolina mountains.

Mike Grenier
Maintenance Manager
Michael Grenier brings over 14 years of industrial maintenance experience to the Greener EHS Solutions team. He has worked part time for Greener EHS Solutions since 2020, and in 2021 joined the company full time as the Maintenance Manager. After earning a degree in Industrial Systems Technologies, he gained first-hand industry experience working for Duke Energy, Static Controls Inc., and most recently, Arauco North America.
He is experienced with conveyor belts, screw conveyors, air compressors, chain conveyors, boiler and cooling water systems, fans, dust collection systems, air scrubber systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, packaging systems, blower systems, mixers, strainers, progressive cavity pumps, air diaphragm pumps and diaphragm dosing pumps and peristaltic dosing pumps.
In his free time Michael enjoys fishing, camping, working on restoring old equipment, and completing home improvements projects for his wife, Amanda!

Max Pintze
Operator
With a background in construction and sewer and water pipe installation, Max joined the Greener EHS team in 2021 as an operator. He has a Grade 1 Biological Wastewater Operator's Certification and is working towards earning certifications in spray irrigation, physical/chemical wastewater operations, and c-well drinking water operations. When not in the field, Max enjoys camping and playing with his Dalmation, Domino.

Wendy Champagne
Administrative Assistant/Safety Officer
Wendy has an Associate of Arts in Psychology and is a crucial member of the Greener EHS team, working behind the scenes to keep business operations running smoothly. In addition to her role with Greener EHS, she is a service missionary for the LDS Church, volunteers in the Bishops Storehouse, and serves as a Director of Music for her church. She is a mom to three daughters and a military wife of 22 years. In her spare time she enjoys music concerts, she is an avid movie watcher, and family historian/genealogist.
