Current Courses

Surface Irrigation

Aug 8 - 11

Focusing on the Surface Irrigation Needs to Know Manual and information from the Small Wastewater System Operation and Maintenance, Volume I and Volume II, this class will cover 21 hours of necessary topics to prepare participants to take the WPCSOCC Certification Exam for Surface Irrigation Operators. This course will take place from 8am - 5pm at Forest Lake RV Park, 192 Thousand Trails Dr, Advance, NC.

OSHA 10-hour for General Industry

May 22 - 23

The course covers a wide range of topics such as personal protective equipment (PPE), hazard communication, electrical safety, machine guarding, and emergency action plans. Participants who successfully complete the 10-hour course will receive an OSHA 10-hour General Industry card that demonstrates their understanding of workplace safety and health hazards. The program is designed to promote safety awareness and help prevent workplace injuries and illnesses. This course is offered through Central Carolina Community College.

Physical/Chemical Grade I

Jun 20 - 21

Focusing on the Grade I Needs to Know and information from the Operation of Wastewater Treatment Plants, Volume I, and Water Treatment Plant Operation, Volume I, this class will cover 18 hours of necessary topics to prepare to participants to take the WPCSOCC Certification Exam for Physical/Chemical Grade I. This course is offered through Central Carolina Community College.
